Cambodian Officials to Visit China This Week

PHNOM PENH: Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn will lead a Cambodian delegation to visit the People’s Republic of China this week. The Cambodian officials is expected to leave Cambodia on Wednesday for China until Friday. The visit is in response to the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

According to MFAIC, the three-day visit will be focused on the bilateral meeting between the two Foreign Ministers in enhancing relations and cooperation in various areas such as post-Covid recovery, economy, trade, tourism, education, health, agriculture, and defence. They will also discuss regional and international issues pressing concern.

The official visit of the Cambodian officials in China is aimed to further strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership of the two countries, long-standing relations of traditional friendship, solidarity, fraternity and tangible cooperation as well as enhancing the cooperation within the multilateral framework for mutual benefits of the two nations’ peoples.
